Sergio Carrillo is an accomplished and driven Finance and Audit Executive with a history of success delivering long-term value in a global environment. Currently serving as Vice President for Enterprise Risk & Internal Audit at CHS Inc., he has a proven track record and thrives on transforming business organizations, leading change to impact performance and culture by defining and aligning a company’s strategy and developing results through disciplined execution.
CHRIS BROOKS, MEMBER AT LARGE
Dr. Chris Brooks was born and raised in South Minneapolis, and has lived in the Twin Cities for 40+ years. As a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Brown Venture Group, Dr. Brooks is on a mission to create sustainable, transferrable wealth within communities of Color. His professional background is diverse, including Executive roles in the Nonprofit sector, Corporate consulting, and teaching as both an undergraduate and graduate-level Professor. He lives his life at the intersection of race and economics.
MAURICE HOLLOMAN, MEMBER AT LARGE
As President and Principal Consultant at Holloman Consulting Group, Maurice brings three decades of executive senior level operations experience at IMRIS, Medtronic, ConAgra and Procter & Gamble to help companies achieve “Next Level Operational Excellence.” He is also a Co-Founder at Achievement Growth Partners, a venture capital group focused on early stage companies in high growth markets.
Cathy Hart, VICE CHAIR, TREASURER
With over 25 years of business and non-profit experience, Cathy is a strategic leader and operations executive who runs Slainte Group, a Twin Cities based consulting and investment firm. Cathy is fueled by finding opportunity in every challenge and in every business condition from start-up to reinvention, and she has worked in numerous industries from health care to commercial real estate to professional services. She is a change agent driven to continuously learn and improve, and she is committed to nurturing both the people and the community around her.
Susan Rylance, SECRETARY
As the VP of Growth and Talent Strategies at Fahren, Susan has over 20 years of experience helping companies grow their marketing and digital teams. She has built a seasoned network of marketing, digital and business professionals across the country where she has helped many SMB and Fortune 500 companies scale their business through identifying and hiring their next modern leaders. She is passionate about helping people realize the real joys in their work and connects them to organizations that align with their passion and purpose.
MARY RAPAPORT, CHAIR
Mary’s diverse business background ranges from marketing and leadership to change management and employee engagement training. She has led high-impact training programs for 20 years. Currently Mary is the Chief Xceleration Officer for Xcelerate Business, providing strategic training programs for companies. She also serves as Vice President, Professional Development for the Association for Talent Development in the Twin Cities. Mary has a passion for volunteerism, with a drive to connect and encourage people to step into their purpose. MBGA is an expression of that desire, and Mary is excited to see it come to life.
